This is another sound sketch. This time instead of having the pictures go along with the rhythm of the sounds, it focuses on the transitions of color between same shots. This sketch is a much more mellow, calming sequence than one that rapidly changes. Click on the picture to view the video.
Here is an idea about to combine my photos I took and the field sound recording I took. Click on the picture to view the video. I moved the pictures to the rhythm of the sounds too emphasize certain parts of the sounds, especially when many sounds are used simultaneously.
For the sound drift strategy I am going to roll a four sided die. 1=turn right 2=turn left 3=continue forward 4=go back
Instead of going by blocks, because I might be out in the woods, I will change every three minutes until I find a sound, record it, and then continue on with the strategy. If I am in the city, I will still roll every three minutes, no matter what, except if I have to go Frogger on the traffic, then I will wait until I hit a crosswalk.
For the Visual portion of the drift I will only take pictures/clips with high shadow contrast. Every shot has to have an obvious shadow that intensifies the object, or the shadow as the main attention.
